Offinso North MP Cautions Youth Over Chieftaincy Issue
The Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development and Member of Parliament (MP) for Offinso North, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim has cautioned the youth within the Offinso traditional area in relation to the chieftaincy matter.
Speaking to Opemsuo News in an interview, the MP advised aggrieved residents in Offinso North to have faith in Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene as he finds peaceful solution to the Offinso chieftaincy problem.
“Let’s all smoke a peace pipe, Otumfour is God’s gift to Asanteman and the wisdom and knowledge God has given to our king is unbelievable, his words are full of wisdom that the lay man will not understand him but that is the solution to the problem,” he said
Hon. Collins Ntim cautioned aggrieved residents to be mindful of the need for peace in Offinso and desist from the unguarded comments against the King while they are expressing concern about the chieftaincy problem there .
“Let’s pray for the King and Asanteman and strongly believe Offinso chieftancy problem will be settled,” Hon Augustine Ntim stated.
Hon Ntim further stated that even though the process for resolving the chieftaincy problem has delayed, patience is needed to address the problem.
