NSS to Pay Feb. and March Allowances “Within Shortest Possible Time”
The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has assured personnel of prompt payment of their outstanding allowances as quickly as possible.
This assurance accompanies the announcement of the payment of their January allowance, which is three months overdue.
According to Management, the allowances for February and March have been processed and will be deposited into personnel accounts as soon as possible. Management has expedited payments to minimize delays.
“Management has worked tirelessly to expedite these payments and expects to be paid within the shortest possible time. We understand the inconveniences caused by the delay and are making every effort to minimize such occurrences in the future.”
On the payment of the January allowance, the statement said personnel could access their money using their e-zwich cards.
“The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) is pleased to announce to all service personnel that the personnel allowances for the month of January 2024 have been duly paid. All eligible service personnel should now have received their January 2024 allowances via E-Zwich at their respective banks nationwide.”
It further expressed its gratitude to personnel for their patience over the late payment.
