NPP 2024 Election Manifesto Launched
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) manifesto for the 2024 Election was launched on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Takoradi in the Western Region.
Present at the event were President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President and 2024 Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Chairman of the party, Stephen Ayensu Ntim, National Secretary of the Party, Justin Kodua Frimpong and many other party faithful.
The NPP Presidential Candidate promises to be a selfless Leader with Bold Solutions for Jobs and Business.
“My vision is to create a tent big enough to accommodate all our people, to tap into the resourcefulness and talents of our people irrespective of our different political and religious views, to channel our energies into building the kind of country that assures a safe, prosperous, and dignified future for all Ghanaians, and to create sustainable jobs with meaningful pay for all, and for Ghana to participate fully in the global digital revolution.”
The manifesto offers to reduce government spending through collaboration with the private sector, reduce government size to 50, incentivize teachers to be able to buy cars, reduce the cost of transportation, enact laws to protect and offer better health services and welfare for the aged and creation of jobs.
The 260-page document also promises to boost sports and the creative arts industry by appointing a digital ambassador as one way of transforming the country into a digital economy, among others.
