Nkenkansu SHS Headmaster Suspended
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has suspended the headmaster of Nkenkansu Senior High School (SHS), Mr Akwasi Opoku, following what it described as unprofessional conduct.
It further deems that the said conduct has denigrated the image of the school and the Ghana Education Service.
The Service has since directed him to step aside as Senior Housemaster of the school pending further investigation and consultation.
“You are to hand over to the Assistant Headmaster Domestic (Mr Peter Amoako Darkwah) immediately without fail.”
Incident
It is reported that the headmaster invoked curses on three students of the school after they allegedly spread false news about him.
The curse was reportedly revoked through rituals by the head teacher’s mother, a chief priest, at a cost of Ghc3000 to the girls.
