NDC Launches Manifesto on August 24

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has scheduled later this month for the launch of their manifesto for this year’s general elections.

It comes days after the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) announced theirs in a press statement.

The opposition Party has thus constituted a committee to see to the preparations towards the event set for August 24, 2024.

“The National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to inform the general public, that its manifesto for the 2024 general elections will be launched in the Central Region on Saturday, 24th August, 2024.”

The members of the Committee headed by Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor (Director of Interparty and Civil Society Relations of the NDC) includes Barbara Serwaa Asamoah Esq. (Deputy General Secretary), Comrade Sammy Gyamfi Esq. (Communications Officer) and Comrade Elikem Kotoko (Deputy National Organizer).

The rest are Mr. Ludwig Hlordze (Director, Protocol and Logistics), Nana Oye-Bampoe Esq. (Secretary to the Manifesto Committee), Mrs. Beatrice Annan Esq. (Deputy Spokesperson for the John Mahama Campaign), Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah (Former Minister of Sports) and Dr. Bernadette Hoffman.

The venue, time and other details for the programme will be announced by the Planning Committee in due course, the statement added.

Meanwhile, the ruling party will be holding their manifesto launch in Takoradi in the Western Region on August 18, 2024.
