National Service Authority Posts over 6,000 Nurses and Midwives

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the posting of 6,867 nurses and midwives for the 2026/27 National Service Year.

The postings for eligible candidates who successfully passed the March/ April 2025 Licensure Examination (minor season) conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council were released on February 25, 2026

In a statement, the Authority directed all eligible trained Nurses and Midwives to visit its website: https://gnst.gov.gh/home and click on the portal to access their respective place of postings and follow the stated procedures to complete the regional validation.

The Regional validation exercise begins on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and ends on Friday, March 13, 2026, with the Service/Rotation set to begin on Monday, March 2, 2026.

“The Management, therefore, urges all prospective National Service Personnel to complete the regional validation within the stipulated period.”

The Authority further reminded the general public that each citizen aged 18 years or older who has completed an accredited tertiary institution is mandated by law to undertake national service to the State.
