Nana Addo Proceeds on a one-week leave
President Akufo-Addo is expected to take a one-week leave from Saturday, November 13, 2021, communication from the presidency has relayed.
At a press briefing today, Director for Communication at the presidency, Mr. Eugene Arhin said the seven-day absence of the president will end on November 20, 2021.
“President Akufo-Addo will from Saturday 13 November to Saturday 20th November take a much deserved overdue seven-day leave of absence”, he stated.
In the course of the leave, the president will preside over the panel that would adjudicate a debate in the French Parliament on the trial of progress on the 19th of November.
Before the leave, the president will on November 12, lead the Ghanaian delegation to the UNESCO 75th anniversary ceremony which is being held at its headquarters in Paris where His Excellency will deliver a speech on the impact UNESCO has had on Ghana and what Ghana expects from UNESCO in the coming years.
He is expected to come back to Ghana on Saturday 20th November. In his absence, the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will act in his stead.
