MTN Announces 15% Extra Data On All Bundle Offers

Telecommunication communication MTN has confirmed 15% extra data on all bundle offers.
This takes effect on July 1, 2025, it said in a statement.
“Y’ello MTNer, enjoy 15% more data on all your favourite bundles at no extra charge, starting 1st July 2025.”
Two weeks ago, the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, announced extra data bundle offers as part of efforts towards making data affordable.
He said the agreement was reached with telecommunication companies in the country after extensive engagements.
“The engagements with the CEOs have resulted in specific measures which are to take effect from Tuesday, July 1, 2025.”
In line with this, he said AirtelTigo will offer a 10% increase in all data bundles while its gh¢400 bundle which currently offers 195 gig of data will offer 236 gig.
Telecel Ghana will also increase all data bundles currently offered by 10% and review its gh¢400 bundle which currently offers 90 gig to 250 gig.
For Scancom Ghana Limited (MTN Ghana), it will increase all data bundles currently offered by 15%.
In addition to that, he announced the restoration of the ¢399 bundle by MTN.
“I’m pleased to announce the restoration of the 399 Ghana cedi bundle, which currently has been changed to the 350 cedi bundle that offers 92.88 gig and will henceforth be reinstated to 214 gig for 399 Ghana cedis,” he stated.
