Mohammed Camara: Asante Kotoko Goalie Yet to Concede Against Hearts of Oak in the League

Ahead of highly-anticipated Sunday’s Super Clash, Opemsuo Radio Sports focuses on Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Camara, who has yet to lose or even concede in a competitive league fixture against their bitter rivals Hearts of Oak.

The 25-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the commencement of the 2024/25 season and really fought his way through to become a mainstay in the team and the fans’ favourite at a certain point despite facing stiff opposition from then national goalie Frederick Asare.

The lanky shot-stopper delivered a top tier display in the last campaign and is currently tipped and regarded by many a Ghanaian football faithful, as undoubtedly one of the best in the domestic championship.

Astonishingly, Mohammed Camara is unbeaten against Kotoko’s long and eternal rivals Hearts of Oak since his arrival and has yet to even concede against them in a competitive league fixture.

The Guinean national team star will surely head into the game on Sunday highly motivated deduced from this statistics and is expected to once again keep his record and live up to expectations in goal to propel the ‘Kum Apem’ lads to victory

Asante Kotoko, however, received a royal visit from some chiefs in the Ashanti Region last Thursday at the Adako-Jachie training grounds and the players have been urged to secure nothing but a victory this weekend, which will be followed by huge promises.

The second Super-Clash of the 2025/26 campaign is scheduled to happen on Sunday, February 15, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
