Miss Trudy Rises to Wode Maya’s Defence

After seeing her husband get subjected to all forms of castigation on social media for days, Miss Trudy has risen to the defence of Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, popularly known as Wode Maya.

Acknowledging the concern and affection from the public, she noted that they were “getting it wrong” because they did not have the “whole picture” of what was going on in the marriage.

She posited that her popular YouTuber husband is not evil as he’s being painted by a section of the public.

“I don’t want my honesty to be the reason for someone to be seen as wicked or a bad person. I wouldn’t even have done this video if not for how Maya is being attacked online. He is literally being attacked left, right and centre. I feel you guys are concerned about me but at the same time I feel you guys got it wrong because Maya is not an evil person.”

According to her, they both have individual flaws that need to be worked at to better their relationship.

“We are both dealing with a lot so we are trying to handle it the best way that we know how. I don’t feel like it’s fair to attack him. So many things are being said about him…We are not perfect and our marriage is not perfect but we are going to work it out together. It’s not like we’ve been married before. We are learning as we go and we are going to do better…There are things I have to work on and there are things Maya needs to work on and we are going to do that together. We are going to be patient with each other.”

Depression
The Kenyan in a recent interview confessed she has been depressed by the union as well as other disclosures that have gotten people inferring that Maya is subjecting her to maltreatment.

The Ghanaian YouTuber has since endured unending attacks from Kenyans.

In her video, she explained that different elements were contributing to the depression.

“Things haven’t been easy for me and one of them is moving over to a new country. I was born and raised in Nairobi. I am a city girl then I moved to Ghana. It’s a totally different country. It’s going to take some time to adjust. It comes with its own challenges…I don’t have friends, the food is different, the weather is different and the culture. When you are married it hits you but you didn’t see it like that prior. I didn’t see it like that before I got married but it’s okay because that’s what I signed up for.”

She is not prepared to part ways with her husband despite the challenges as she believes love overcomes all things.

The couple has been married for two years.
