Minister for Labour Receives Ghana’s First Certified Transfer Designer

The Minister for Labour, Jobs and Employment, Dr Rashid Pelpuo, has hosted Kyerewa Boateng, the first Ghanaian to earn certification as a Transfer Designer from the Institute for Transfer Effectiveness (ITE).
The Minister commended her for her significant professional achievement, describing it as a positive development for Ghana’s workforce and institutional capacity-building efforts.
He noted that strengthening the link between training and measurable workplace performance remains critical to national productivity and job creation.
Kyerewa Boateng’s certification equips her to design science-based training programmes that ensure knowledge acquired during workshops and seminars is effectively applied on the job.
The Transfer Designer qualification focuses on the practical implementation of the 12 Levers of Transfer Effectiveness, a globally recognized, research-based framework that helps organizations translate training investments into tangible results.
During the engagement, discussions centered on how evidence-based learning transfer strategies can support public and private sector institutions to improve productivity, employee engagement, and overall organizational performance.
Dr Pelpuo reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to promoting innovative approaches to workforce development and encouraged greater collaboration between training professionals and national institutions to ensure that skills development efforts deliver lasting impact.
Kyerewa Boateng’s achievement marks an important step in advancing results-driven learning and development practices in Ghana.
