Medeama Parts Ways With Coach David Duncan
Sporting Club Medeama has terminated its contract with Head Coach David Duncan after the abysmal performance of the Club in the ongoing 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League.
This comes just four months after his appointment.
According to the Club, the decision to terminate the contract was done on “mutual grounds”.
After Match Week 9 games, Medeama holds the 13th place with eleven points on the betPawa Premier League Table.
In its five matches in the League so far, Medeama conceded three defeats, a win and a draw.
In its statement announcing the dismissal of its head coach, the Club said “circumstances” have necessitated the decision.
“Duncan joined the Mauve and Yellow in September 2022, signing a one-year contract. However, circumstances mean both parties have reached an agreement to go separate ways after four months.
“The experienced gaffer supervised five Ghana Premier League matches during his tenure. On behalf of everyone at Medeama SC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to David Duncan for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
