Maternity Unit Of 37 Military Hospital Shut

The Maternity unit of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra has been shut for one week to undergo a fumigation exercise, the hospital has announced.

“The closure has become necessary to enable the Hospital authorities to undertake a fumigation exercise as a remedy to any infestation of the unit”, a statement from the hospital said.

Meanwhile, measures have been put in place to manage entitled cases during the period of the closure, the hospital noted.

The closure begins today, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, and will end on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

The Unit will reopen to the general public on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
