Man charged with rape and robbery after losing his penis

An alleged robber and rapist has been arrested by the Obuasi Police Command and will be charged with robbery and rape according to the Obuasi Police Commander, DSP Matthew Asenso

According to him, the accused stormed the house of one Justina Donkor on Saturday around 2 am and demanded for oral sex after allegedly raping the lady and taking an amount of ¢550, a television and mobile phone belonging to the lady as she was asleep.

Reports say the accused was armed with a gun and a knife with which he threatened the lady

In the course of forceful oral sex, the lady bit off the penis of the accused who retaliated the bite on the lady’s back and fled with only the money leaving behind the other items, while he was bleeding

The lady reported the incident to the police

Recounting to the host of Nkwantananso on Opemsuo FM, the police commander said the accused was arrested at Anglogold Ashanti Hospital while he was seeking medical attention

He was therefore put under police guard throughout his admission at the hospital but has been discharged and is in police custody assisting in investigation

The accused, upon interrogation is said to have admitted to the crime.
