Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Fellow Over Suspicions of Infidelity Involving His Wife
The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect for the murder of a 56-year-old man, who was suspected of having an amorous relationship with his wife.
The suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, allegedly attacked Enoch Obiri, a man at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region on February 13, 2026, inflicting multiple stab wounds on parts of his body, including the left arm and abdomen.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect had allegedly issued threats to the deceased on several occasions over a suspected amorous relationship involving his wife.
He was also reported to have been seen in the area on the day of the murder.
He is currently in Police custody, assisting with investigations and will be put before the court.
