Mahama Nominates 15 More MMDCEs

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated 15 District Chief Executives for the Greater Accra, Bono East and Savannah regions.

The list was released on April 23 by the Minister for Local Government and Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ibrahim Ahmed.

The nomination is in accordance with Article 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20 (1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936) (as amended).

The said appointments of the District Chief Executives are pending approval by their respective Assemblies.
