Lil Win Crash: Life of Toddler Claimed
The life of a three-year-old was claimed in the car crash between actor Kwadwo Nkasah’s salon Benz car and another vehicle over the weekend.
The boy identified as Tawiah Ampomah Richard was riding with his father in his car when the tragedy struck at Amakom in the Ashanti Region.
According to relatives of the deceased, the boy was first taken to Anwiam Hospital for treatment but got referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) by the facility alongside his father.
He died on May 25 while receiving treatment at the KATH, his grandmother, Victoria Nketia, revealed in an interview with Angel FM monitored by opemsuo.com.
His father is still at the hospital receiving treatment.
A formal complaint has since been lodged with the police for further investigations, she said, adding that the actor’s agents have approached the family to offer assistance.
Multiple eyewitness accounts have implicated Lil Win for causing the accident. Reports say he was driving at top speed, veering off his lane into oncoming vehicles.
The family of the deceased wants justice to be served.
Meanwhile, the family criticised the media and the public for giving all the attention to Lil Win who caused the accident.
“The one who caused this fatal accident got all the public attention. When you look at the videos, he was the one passers-by rushed to help while my in-law and grandson didn’t receive any help. My in-law had to plead with people to help him find a taxi to take the boy to the hospital. The news is all about Lil Win. No attention has been paid to the victims.”
