Kwabre East Roads Will Get Major Boost Under Dr. Bawumia – Wontumi
Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly kinown as Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), made a commitment to the people of Kwabre East that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate, will prioritize the construction of all their roads.
During his tour of the constituency on Friday, August 23, 2024, Wontumi made this commitment at Manpongteng. He also visited the uncompleted Manpongteng Market, where he spoke with traders about the new DRIP plan, which will renovate the entire Kwabre East Road.
As the general elections approach, Chairman Wontumi urged voters to support Dr. Bawumia and Mr. Onyina Akwasi Acheampong, their parliamentary candidate.
Additionally, he interacted with Mamponteng Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) members and emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s presidency will bring about a better Ghana.
“We will possess the superior Ghana under the reign of Bawumia,” Wontumi stressed.
The NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman believes Dr. Bawumia is running for president to improve Ghana and the lives of its citizens. He expressed hope that the NPP candidate will emerge victorious in the presidential contest on December 7.
Interestingly, despite the SDA leadership’s decision not to vote due to the Saturday elections, Wontumi believes SDA members will play a crucial role in deciding the next President.
“SDA members will decide the next President,” he declared.
