Kwabena Kwabena Features Obaapa Christy In Next Gospel Song

An announced piece by highlife artiste Kwabena Kwabena featuring Obaapa Christy has thrown fans from both camps into anticipation.

Both artistes posted a flyer announcing the new song to the fans on Tuesday.

Titled “FAKYƐME” to wit Forgive Me, it will be available on all streaming platforms on July 1 and is an honour of his promise to God.

The “Bue Kwan” crooner explained that the song reflects his in-depth appreciation of God over his life during the torrid season.

“Since my career as a mainstream artiste started, I have encountered countless obstacles. Some nearly dipped my craft, some nearly made me quit, some actually dented my image and personality but through all these ups and downs the Lord has been faithful and we are still here.”

He said he made a promise to God to dedicate his seventh album to him and that is what this new song seeks to fulfil.

“I made God a promise to dedicate my 7th studio album recording to his glory and mercy upon my life, and I am more than excited to announce the first single FAKYƐME feat. OBAAPA CHRISTY off this wonderful EP drops on the 5th of July 2024. GOD OF RESTORATION EP is here.”

This will not be the first time Kwabena Kwabena will release a gospel song. In 2012 he came out with “Bue Kwan” as part of his Daakye album which broke the airwaves in 2014.

Following this, he told Graphic Showbiz, “I decided to do ‘Bue Kwan’ to motivate people and also tell God how wonderful He has been to me. I am happy about the positive response I am receiving from the song.”
