KuYA Asanteman Awards: Samuel Kwasi Kwaw Is The Best Morning Show Producer Of The Year 2020
Producer for Opemsuo 104.7FM’s Morning Show, Nkwantannanso, Samuel Kwasi Kwaw, has been adjudged the best Morning Show producer of the year 2020.
The industrious and extraordinary producer’s work over the years was recognised at the maiden edition of Asanteman Awards organised by Kumasi Youth Association (KuYA) on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi.
The event was aimed at recognizing the immense contributions of some outstanding individuals towards the development of Asanteman and Samuel Kwaw was named as one of the greats whose shrewdness have been felt by Asanteman.
Samuel Kwasi Kwaw who is popularly known in the media landscape as SKK has marked every fleeting moment of his work with nothing short of the best and through his savvy work, Opemsuo morning show, Nkwantannanso, is seen as one of the best programs promoting everything Asanteman.
The august occasion was graced by several dignitaries including the former mayor of Kumasi, Mr. Kojo Bonsu, the current Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) boss, Mr. Osei Asibbey-Antwi, Member of Parliament for Effiduase Asokore constituency, Hon. Dr. Ayew Afriyie, former Member of Parliament for Mampong, Hon. Addai Nimo and former Minister of Energy, Hon. Boakye Agyarko with the special guest of honor for the occasion being the Asantehene, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Mr. Kwaw’s journalism career started with Anigye FM(now YFM). He had previously worked with All Friends FM, Price FM, OTEC FM, Silver FM, Fox FM before joining Opemsuo FM all in Kumasi.
