Kofi Adams Promises to Account For Each Cedi and Dollar Raised with Utmost Integrity

Ghana came together as one for the Black Stars at the downtown business district and minutes away from Accra’s national centre for culture and art, the Kempinski Hotel.

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Iddie Adams, organised a World Cup Fundraising to aid the government convene supporters to the United States of America in support of the team.

The Minister of Sports, together with the government of the state, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, aims to raise $30 million to support the Black Stars in the Mundial set for this summer.

At the fundraiser dinner, Ghana’s business sector, entertainment barons, and people responded to the president’s request, generating an encouraging $12,096,000, as well as a campaign song worth $20,000 from Stonebwoy.

The member of parliament for the Buem Constituency, Kofi Iddie Adams, pledged that every donation that will be contributed will be accounted for with a degree of integrity at his official X account, @HonKofiAdams.

Mr. Kofi Adams stated, “I extend my sincere appreciation to His Excellency the President for his leadership, and to the Deputy Minister for Finance for chairing the fundraising committee with diligence and commitment. To Corporate Ghana, our partners, and every Ghanaian who has contributed or shown support, we are grateful.”

“Let me assure the nation that every cedi and dollar raised will be accounted for with the highest level of integrity. This is our Black Stars. This journey belongs to all of us,” Mr. Adams vowed.

The Black Stars are presently camping in Austria to begin preparations for their international friendly against Austria on Monday, with 21 players arriving at the Vienna Football Campus.
