KMA Detains Stray Cattle

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) says it has detained an undisclosed number of stray cattle within the metropolis.

They were impounded on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in the afternoon, around the High Court area.

“This exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to keep the city clean, orderly, and safe for all residents and road users,” it said in a notice issued on Tuesday.

Owners of the impounded animals have been directed to contact the Environmental Health Unit of KMA within seven days for further information and necessary action.

The Assembly urged residents to contribute to maintaining a clean and disciplined Kumasi.
