Karela Go for Coach Jimmy Corbllah after Relegation Escape
Karela United Football Club have gone in for the services of former Inter Allies and King Faisal gaffer, Jimmy James Corbllah, ahead of the commencement of the next season.
He replaces Abukari Damba who nearly saw the club fall from the League in the 2023/2024 season though club has not yet released an official statement to confirm the termination of the latter’s contract.
In a Facebook post on July 17, Jimmy’s appointment was announced.
“We are excited to announce the signing of Jimmy James Corbllah as our head coach on a two-year contract! Welcome to the club, Coach Corbllah, as we gear up for an exciting season ahead.”
Karela nearly got relegated from the Premier League with 46 points from 34 games.
They, however finished the season 12 with a goal difference of -6.
