Just In: Ken Ofori Atta In Closed-door Joint Meeting On Day To Reconvene

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta has just joined a closed-door joint majority and minority caucus meeting ongoing in parliament.

According to Opemsuo radio’s parliamentary correspondent, Kwaku Boffah, the meeting is meant to arrive at a consensus on the future of the 2022 government economic policy.

The meeting has been in session for about 3 hours, Boffah said.

Parliament was expected to reconvene at the chamber of parliament at exactly 10 am today over the future of the ‘rejected’ 2022 budget statement and economic policy.

However, the chamber was empty at the time due to a series of meetings undertaken by the caucuses.
