It wasn’t my Best; Harry after Exiting Men’s 100m Freestyle at Olympic
Ghana’s representative in the 2024 Men’s Olympics 100m freestyle, Harry Stacey, has stated that his output was not his best after coming seventh in the competition which took place on Tuesday at La Defense Arena in France.
During his debut at the competition, Harry finished Heat 4 under 51.12s, missing out on the next stage of the competition.
The 24-year-old is not pleased with his output as he noted that it fell below his best.
“I am not too mad at the performance, but it wasn’t my best,” he relayed after his contest and added that he was up to train harder for the next Olympics.
He intends to build on the experienced he has amassed at his debut for a better result in the next four years.
“It’s been learning experience after learning experience. I am actually building blocks to the future, hoping to come back for the next Olympics,” he said after his event.
Harry was represented at the African Games where he earned automatic wild card slot for the Paris 2024.
