I’m Divorced- McBrown

Actress Nana Ama McBrown has confirmed her divorce from her husband, Maxwell.

According to her, the decision was on mutual grounds and took a smooth and peaceful path, reflecting their respect for each other.
She made the disclosure in an interview with Cookie Tee on TV3.

“We didn’t go through it like the bitter ones. We were both tired. We sat down, talked, and decided to move on peacefully. Yes, I’m divorced.”

She affirmed that she was not ashamed of the divorce, adding that it didn’t mark the end of a woman.

Delving into her relationship with her ex-husband, she said they were best friends.

“My husband and I are cool. We spoke yesterday. We speak today. We speak tomorrow. We meet. I go to our house, meet my in-laws and everything. We are the best of friends. We didn’t go through it like the bitter ones.”

She further encouraged couples going through marital struggles to peacefully and honourably go through the divorce process.

McBrown and her husband tied the knot in 2016 and share one child.
