Ignore Objections to Accra-Kumasi Expressway- Ashanti Youth for Development to Mahama

A group calling itself Ashanti Youth for Development has urged President John Dramani Mahama to disregard any objection and opposition to the proposed Accra-Kumasi Expressway project.
In a statement, it noted that any individual or group attempting to cast doubts on this project does not act in the interest of the region or the country.
“Such voices should be ignored. The Ashanti Region deserves modern infrastructure befitting its role as a major economic and demographic centre, and President Mahama has responded with clarity and conviction.”
It further expressed confidence in his leadership and in the Government’s unwavering commitment to the proposed project as well as the ongoing dualization of the existing Accra-Kumasi Highway.
“Our checks confirm that contractors are on site and working diligently to advance this critical national project. When completed, the dualised highway will significantly improve mobility, safety, and trade across multiple regions.”
The youth group also encouraged all well-meaning Ghanaians to embrace this project and its potential to drive economic growth, create jobs, and improve accessibility.
It further hailed the president’s foresight and affirmed the youth’s full support.
“As development-oriented citizens, we have no questions to ask, only sincere gratitude for the President’s foresight. We recognise the Expressway as a transformative national asset and wholeheartedly trust the Government’s judgment and capacity to deliver it successfully.”
