I was Shocked to See World’s Tallest man- Shortest Woman

Jyoti Amge, the world’s shortest woman according to the Guinness World Records (GWR) has opened up about her experience when she first met Sultan Kösen, the world’s tallest man.

In an interview posted by GWR, the Indian woman who has a difference of 188.2 cm with Sultan said she was taken aback when they first met.

“When I met the world’s tallest man, Sultan, I was a little shocked. I was thinking ‘how can someone be this tall?’ He was astonished seeing me as well but it felt amazing meeting him.”

Their recent meeting was in California in February this year after their last in 2018 and have since grown into good friends, she revealed.

She is 62.8 cm and doctors say she has a deficiency of growth hormone, causing her stunted growth.

But for the support of her family, the content creator and actress said she wouldn’t have come this far.

“I make reels on social media. I do put in a lot of effort and that is why I have a lot of followers. It feels nice to have fans. I feel happy. There’s a lot of thinking that goes into making content… I have been featured in a lot of TV series and movies. I was also in American Horror story. I want to build my career in acting and I want to do more TV Shows in the future.”

She doesn’t feel stigmatized as she enjoys her outings, she said.

“When I go out I feel very good because everyone is fond of me and I feel popular at that moment. When I take selfies with my fans it feels nice but overwhelming too because there are so many of them who want to take selfies with me.”

Jyoti is 30 years old.
