Help Release Arrested Students: Katanga Alumni To Education Minister
The University Hall alumni of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) are launching a campaign to free University Hall students who are currently detained and are asking the Education Minister to get involved.
In relation to recent campus violence that wounded people and destroyed property, the students were arrested.
But the Katanga alumni in its petition drew the minister’s attention to the development accusing management and the police of persecuting innocent students.
It wants top officials of the university to be called to order to avert what it describes as a looming academic crisis.
