The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has called on members of the public in possession of any of some 95 flagged vehicles to hand them over.

These vehicles are reported to have been stolen and brought to Ghana for sale from the United States of America (USA) and Canada by some suspected criminals.

According to Graphic, a joint operation by EOCO, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States of America (USA) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in December 2022 led to the retrieval of 37 out of the 400 vehicles stolen.
