NSS Postings for 17,439 Nurses and Midwives Released

Seventeen thousand four hundred and thirty-nine trained Nurses and Midwives have been posted to health facilities across the country for their mandatory service to the nation, the National Service Authority (NSA) has announced.
The postings were released on Monday, April 28, 2025.
All deployed nurses and midwives are required to complete the validation and registration process by visiting the NSA website to check their placements, printing their appointment letters and visiting designated health facilities for endorsement.
The trained nurses and midwives are to book appointments for registration online and report to the NSA regional Validation and Registration Centre on the set date and time.
A statement by the Authority said the regional validation process commenced on April 28 and will end on Friday. May 9, 2025, across the regional centres.
Meanwhile, the national service will officially begin on Friday, May 2, 2025.

The National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), enjoins every Ghanaian citizen who has attained the age of eighteen (IS) years or more and has completed any accredited tertiary institution, which includes universities, and Nursing Training Colleges are MANDATED by law to undertake national service to the State.
