Ghana’s Embassy in Kuwait Undertaking Registration for Nationals Amid Tensions

Ghana’s Embassy in Kuwait and accredited to the Republic of Iraq has announced a registration exercise for Ghanaians living in the two countries.

It noted that the exercise will enable the Embassy to obtain accurate data on Ghanaians.

It added that it will enhance its ability provide efficient consular and welfare services, particularly in light of the current situation in the Middle East Region.

A part of a statement issued on Tuesday read, “The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in the State of Kuwait, and accredited to the Republic of Iraq, wishes to urge all Ghanaian nationals residing in Kuwait and Iraq to kindly register with the Ghana Embassy.”

It assured that all information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for official purposes.

On Monday, Ghana’s Embassy in Doha, Qatar, issued a similar statement urging unregistered Ghanaians to registered through a link as part of ongoing emergency preparedness measures.
