Ghana Will Process 60% Of Raw Materials When I Become President – Alan Kyerematen
Alan Kyerematen, a former member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who declared his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election as an independent, has outlined his vision to process 60% of Ghana’s raw materials once elected president.
He highlighted a significant issue plaguing the country—lack of value addition to its raw materials, leading to substantial losses in foreign exchange earnings.
Alan emphasized that processing raw materials within Ghana not only opens up job opportunities but also strengthens the economy by increasing foreign exchange reserves.
He elaborated on his commitment to an inclusive government. He believes this approach will enable Ghana to benefit from the knowledge and experiences of individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their political affiliations.
By running as an independent candidate, he offers a neutral platform for Ghanaians both domestically and abroad to actively contribute to the nation’s development.
Alan Kyerematen’s political agenda includes a commitment to currency stability, aiming to address inflation and interest rates. Additionally, he pledged to reduce Ghana’s debt levels to ensure economic sustainability.
