GFA Appoints Sandra Boakye As Black Damsels Coach

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Sandra Boakye as the head coach of the Black Damsels.
She will run the U-15 girls’ team with the support of Stephen Jojo Ampah and Gifty Ayew, named as her assistant coaches.
Other appointees include Joseph Akeem as the goalkeepers’ coach, Yaa Serfowaa as the physiotherapist, Elizabeth Ayambila as the Welfare Officer, Dr. Josephine Nomor as the Team Doctor and Lydia Forson as the Equipment Officer.
In a statement, the FA said, “Sandra’s appointment reflects the association’s trust in her abilities and experience to build a solid foundation for the Black Damsels, a team that serves as the nursery for Ghana’s future women’s national teams.”
It is confident that the technical and support team will position the U15 Girls to compete in regional and international competitions, contributing to the long-term growth of women’s football in Ghana.
