Fuel Prices Drop
The prices of a litre of diesel and petrol have reduced by 0.31 pesewas and 0.85 pesewas respectively in the second pricing window of March 2023.
Goil and TotalEnegies have all reduced the price of a litre of diesel to GHC 13.49.

Meanwhile, they are all selling a litre of petrol at GHC 12.95.

The Institute of Energy Security (IES) earlier this week predicted a fall in fuel prices between the range of 3% to 10%.
According to Macrotrends, the price of a barrel of crude was US$68.26 per barrel as of March 15, 2023.
The continuous fall in the international price of crude is accounting for the fall at the pumps.
Speaking at the commissioning of the new head office of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) in Accra, vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia said the Gold-For-Oil policy of the government will be felt in the coming days.
The policy, among other things, is meant to stabilise the incessant spike in fuel prices at the pumps in the country.
