Former EC Boss Appointed Ghana Gas Board Member

Former Electoral Commission Chairperson, Mrs Charlotte Osei, is among the nine individuals appointed as the Board of Directors of the Ghana Gas Company Limited.

The Board has Mr. Kofi Totobi Quakyi as the Chairman, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, AG. CEO, Mr. Emmanuel Vincent, Ms. Nasira Afrah Gyekye (MP), Mr. Samuel Kwame Borlu, Awulae Agyefi Kwame II, Mr. Baba Abdul Jamal Adama and Mr. Blay Nyameke Armah (MP).

A statement by the company expressed optimism about the individuals’ competence.

“The new members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Board, and we are confident that they will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company.”

It emphasised that the appointment demonstrates President John Dramani Mahama’s confidence in their abilities to steer the affairs of the company.

“We look forward to working with the new Board to enhance the company’s business, tackle operational challenges, ensure quality assurance, as well as promote peaceful coexistence between the GNGLC and host communities.”
