Firefighter Stabbed While Fighting Domestic Fire at Adjiringano

A firefighter has been stabbed while attending to fire call at Adjiringano.
He is said to have been stabbed on the left arm and was rushed to Unity Clinic at Madina.
Details surrounding the stabbing remains rare however, a statement by the Ghana National Service said the perpetrator absconded after the heinous crime on Friday night.
It has since promised a special reward for anyone who helps us find the person who stabbed our firefighter.
The incident happened while responding to a fierce fire that gutted an eight-room building near Ability Square.
“The fire call was received at 2132 hours on Friday, November 14, 2025, and the first pump from the Legon Fire Station arrived at 2203 hours.
“Reinforcement from the Madina, National Headquarters and Adenta Fire Stations, together with a private water tanker, ensured a sufficient water supply to fully contain the blaze.”
It reports that the fire was brought under control at 0016 hours and fully doused at 0108 hours.
The Service said seven of the rooms and their contents on the top floor were burnt, with firefighters successfully salvaging one (1) room in addition to the ground floor rooms and adjoining buildings.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
