Esther Smith Returns Home for Live Concert in August
Ghanaian legendary musician Esther Smith has announced her return to Ghana for a live concert after ten years abroad.
The “Gye no di” crooner in a Facebook post published a flyer for the concert with close to 20 gospel musicians in the country.
“The wait is over! I’m thrilled to announce my LIVE concert in Ghana! Join me for an unforgettable night of worship with some of Ghana’s finest gospel artists.”
The concert will take place in Kumasi on August 25 and in Accra on August 30 under the theme “The Vision is Jesus”.
“KUMASI, get ready for August 25th at Bantama Pentecost! ACCRA, let’s praise together on August 30th at Perez Dome!”
The artiste is eager for the concert which she deems as an opportunity for a reunion with her Ghanaian family and celebrate God’s goodness.
“Don’t miss out! Save the dates, get your tickets ready and let’s make these nights unforgettable, glorifying the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Among the artistes to perform at the concert are Joyce Blessing, Oware Junior, Kofi Sarpong, Mark Anim, Morrice Babyface, Lady Prempeh, Minister OJ, Noble Nketiah, and Dorcas Appiah.
She first announced her homecoming in June.
Esther rose to prominence among the country’s gospel fraternity with her debut, “Gye No Di” and stayed within prominence with all subsequent releases.
She is known for timeless songs such as Odiyasem, Onyame ye Nyame, Teamu fre Jesus, ma Wonsan, Onyame Banbo, Maye Nhyira and Nyame Ben Ni.
