Kwame Eugene Explains Decision Against Collaboration With Guru

“He is quick-tempered” was the response Deloris Frimpong Manso, host of the Delay Show, got when she decided to find out why artiste Kuami Eugene vowed against a collaboration with rapper Guru on a song.

Guru requested a collaboration with Kuame Eugene two years ago but the request was turned down.

Following that Eugene made public his decision never to collaborate with the rapper citing the latter’s disrespect towards the CEO of his record label, Lynx Entertainment.

It appears he still holds onto the decision after all these while but with a myriad of justifications: first Guru’s irritability and then his disrespect for his family.

“He is quick-tempered,” he said for the first reason and then admitted to holding a grudge against him.

“I had no problem with Guru but now we do because he has offended my family. He insulted me, my father, mother,” the “Wish Me Well” hit-maker explained.

A rife between Guru and Richie Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of Lynx Entertainment can be traced years back.

According to the rapper, Richie has been sabotaging his career for the past decade, an allegation Richie denies.
