Emelia Brobbey Announces New Song

Famous Ghanaian actress Emelia Brobbey will soon be out with a new song titled, “Nsem Keka”.

The Okukuseku host who is known on the musical stage as Mz EB announced this to her followers across social media on Monday, October 7, 2024.

“A closed mouth catches no flies, my new song will be out soon my lovely family #NsemKeka.”

This will be her fifth musical project, after her last release in 2020, titled ‘Makoma,’ which featured and was produced by Kuami Eugene

Emelia announced her presence in the music scene with “Fa Me Ko” which garnered public ridicule across various social media platforms in 2019 over her vocals.

At the time, she was advised to stay away from music as many thought she was not born to be an artiste as she claimed. She soon came out with another single featuring Prince Bright of BUK BAK fame for the remix of her song.

Unperturbed about the negative and discouraging comments, Emelia served notice about her resolve to stay in the industry.

“I would have had a problem if every Ghanaian had a problem with the song but I have gotten very influential people in the music fraternity who love the song to bits. What most people complain about is my voice so I have decided to use auto-tune next time if that is what Ghanaians want,” she told Graphic Online at the time.

She continued, “I have been preparing for music for a while and those who know me will testify that I have always had the talent in me. I have done a couple of movie soundtracks but I decided to go into full-time music now. In fact, I have a couple of songs ready which I will be releasing soon. I am also available for gigs should anyone require my services.”

Her second song featuring Kuami Eugene was warmly embraced by Ghanaians who thought she had improved massively on her voice.

Her 2.1 million fans on Facebook are anticipating what their star has gotten for them this year.

“Drop it and let see,” one said with another adding, “Can’t wait 😀😀🦅.”

One other decided to throw in some words of encouragement saying, “Look, do what will bring you money every day 👌n forget people.”

Other songs she has to her credit include “Emelia” and “Odo Electric”.
