Elon Musk Says Some of His Social Media Posts Against Trump ‘Went Too Far’
Tesla owner Elon Musk has expressed regret for some tweets he made in the heat of his social media confrontation with President Donald Trump.
Musk early on Wednesday admitted he went too far.
“I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.”
The two billionaires who reconciled ahead of the 2024 US Presidential elections traded insults throughout Thursday. It began with Trump expressing disappointment with Musk’s criticisms of his “Big Beautiful Tax” and alluded to an end to their friendship.
Musk responded to this by calling the President an ingrate, saying “Trump would have lost the election” without his help.
He went further to accuse Trump of concealing information about his association with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who died by suicide while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking.
The post has since been deleted.
Meanwhile, Trump retaliated with claims that Musk abuses drugs.
