Efya Promises Refund after Cancelling Christmas Concert
Ghanaian songstress Efya has cancelled this year’s edition of her annual Christmas concert, promising a refund for persons who have purchased tickets.
In a statement, she said the decision to cancel the “Efya Live” was due to circumstances beyond her control.
“Unfortunately, ‘Efya Live’ will not be happening this year due to circumstances beyond my control.”
She added, “I greatly appreciate everyone who was dedicated to making this show a reality, and thank you to my wonderful fans for your continued support. For those who have already bought tickets, refunds are being processed.”
She is, however, optimistic the concert will take place next year.
“We’ll bring the show back in 2025, bigger and better. So stay tuned! Looking forward to an exciting new year.”
The concert was slated for December 23, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
In a statement announcing it, Efya promised an “experience of a lifetime” with “unforgettable vibes, incredible energy, and moments you won’t want to miss”.
She invited fans to join her for an unforgettable night of music and magic, assuring that “this show will be nothing short of amazing”.
