Education Ministry Launches E-learning Platform Unifying 46 Colleges of Education

The Ministry of Education has launched an e-learning platform connecting all 46 public Colleges of Education to enhance digital education training.
The platform was launched by the Deputy Education Minister, Clement Apaak.
The platform, unveiled in Accra, links all 46 Colleges of Education through a unified digital system designed to improve access, collaboration, and quality in teacher preparation.
Dr Apaak described the initiative as a major shift in Ghana’s education system, stressing that it goes beyond technology to reshape how teachers are trained.
“Today marks more than the launch of a digital platform. It marks a decisive step in our journey to transform teacher education in Ghana,” he said.
He noted that the platform aligns with the broader digital transformation agenda and supports the education reset policy under President John Dramani Mahama.
According to him, teacher training must evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.
“In the 21st century, that preparation must be digital, dynamic, and data driven,” he stated.
