DVLA Customers to Receive Pre-expiration and Expiration Prompts

Customers of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVA) will receive prompts about the status of their driving licence.

It comes as the Authority plans to introduce a new Customer Notifications Service.

With this, the DVLA will send Pre-Expiration Alert and an Expiration Reminder to customers.

This means that customers will now receive notifications before their licence replacement and licence renewal dates expire, as well as a second prompt after their licence has expired.

“This service aims to ensure all customers are informed about upcoming expiration dates for their licences.”
