Deputy Communication Minister Discharged from Hospital after Accident

The Deputy Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, has been discharged from the hospital following an accident last week.

The Ministry confirmed that he is recuperating well and is expected to resume his duties soon.

“The Ministry appreciates the numerous messages of goodwill and concern from the public, media, and well-wishers.”

The convoy of the Deputy Minister and the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, was involved in an accident on February 12, 2026, on the Bolgatanga-Tumu Road.

This was during a trip to official engagements to commemorate the 40th Anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education in the Upper West Region.

The Education Minister was discharged over the weekend.
