Delay Unveiled As Brand Ambassador For LPG Campaign
Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly known as Delay has been unveiled by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) as the Brand Ambassador of the Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) campaign.
She was unveiled during the launch of the campaign dubbed “Wo W) Gas” on December 6.
The campaign will be promoted in languages like Twi, Ewe, Ga, Hausa, etc.
The campaign is meant to promote and sensitise citizens about the use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as a safer and cleaner alternative to wood fuels.
Speaking at the event, the official brand ambassador for the campaign expressed her delight at the role.
“I am so honoured. NPA could have chosen anyone but they decided to choose the very best which is myself. I’m so honoured, I’m humbled and I’m pledging to promote and be the biggest advocate of this campaign.”
She furthered, “LPG is safe, it’s convenient, and we should all switch to it”.
The NPA through this campaign hopes to draw 50% of Ghanaians into the use of LPG.
Chief Executive Officer of the NPA, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said his outfit was working towards making LPG affordable, available and accessible to all, according to Graphic.
