Daddy Lumba’s Life Celebration Event Not Injuncted- Sister

The elder sister of the late musician Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known as Daddy Lumba, has debunked reports that the upcoming two-day event to celebrate the life of his brother has been injuncted by the court.
In a statement, Ernestina Fosuh affirmed that the claims are ‘false.’
“There is no injunction stopping the event. The Celebration of Life of Daddy Lumba will proceed as planned.”
Dubbed the Celebration of Life for Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, the event is slated for March 28 and 29 in Accra.
A section of the family organised this with the intention of honouring the late musician in a ‘grand and dignified manner.’
“It will be a celebration worthy of a man who gifted Ghana countless unforgettable Highlife classics. No rumour, no intimidation, and no misinformation will prevent us from celebrating his legacy,” Enerstina stated in her communique.
She announced that Nana Yaw Akosah, popularly known as Papa Shee, has been authorised to act and coordinate on behalf of the family in Ghana in relation to the event and related arrangements.
Meanwhile, she appealed to Ghanaians to refrain from insults, harsh language, and abusive comments directed at anyone.
Restraining Order to See Corpse
Meanwhile, she denied being given the opportunity to see her late brother prior to his burial.
“This claim is not only untrue but extremely painful. I personally went to Transition Funeral Home at Haatso, accompanied by my lawyer and four others, to see my younger brother – my only brother, whom I have loved since childhood and with whom I spoke just two days before his untimely death. I was denied access. The manager of the funeral home informed us that the Abusuapanyin had instructed them not to allow me to see him.”
