Congratulations to Next President Bawumia- Nana B
The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, has expressed confidence in their flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, predicting a victory in Ghana’s 2028 Presidential election.
In a statement on Facebook, he described the NPP’s 2028 flagbearer as the next president of the republic.
“Saturday was a significant day for the Party, and once again, congratulations to the next President of the Republic, H.E. Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, on the decisive mandate bestowed on you by the entire Party.”
According to him, it falls on the party to seek healing and unity to fight for a comeback to power.
“Winning in 2028 will require everyone: Party leaders, former aspirants, communicators, grassroots members, and volunteers. Communicators should echo the flagbearer’s message that every effort and idea matters and that unity of purpose is our greatest strength.”
He therefore advocated for the abandonment of personal preferences to make way for the collective mission to win power in 2028.
While commending the unsuccessful aspirants for their concession speech as true party spirit and leadership, Nana B stated that the former Vice President’s election as flagbearer reflects the confidence of delegates in his leadership and vision for the party and the country.
