Catholic Church Loses Archbishop

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale, Most Rev. Philip Naameh has announced the death of Archbishop Emeritus of Tamale, Most Rev. Gregory E. Kpiebaya.

He is reported to have died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital yesterday.

“This sad event happened in the early hours this morning, 31st May 2022 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital”, a letter signed by Most Rev. Naameh confirmed.

He noted that the funeral and burial arrangements will be announced in due time.
