Castro’s Father Refuses to Give Up Hope 10 Years After Son’s Disappearance

In an interview on Empire FM monitored by Opemsuo Radio, Mr. Coffie Eshun, the father of late hip-life star Castro, revealed his belief that his son may still be alive, despite a decade-long disappearance.

Castro, known for his infectious beats and vibrant stage presence, vanished on July 6th, 2014, during a jet skiing excursion in Ada with friends, including Asamoah Gyan.

The incident has left a haunting mystery that continues to grip the nation.

Mr. Coffie’s faith remains unshaken, fueling his hope that Castro will one day be found.

He also raised suspicions of foul play, hinting at a more sinister narrative behind his son’s disappearance.

The legal presumption of death, according to Ghana’s Evidence Act, has not deterred Mr. Coffie’s steadfast belief in Castro’s possible return.

Section 33 of Ghana’s Evidence Act, 1975 (N.R.C.D. 323) titled “Death after seven years absence,” states, “Where a person has not been heard of for seven years despite diligent effort to find that person, that person is presumed to be dead. There is no presumption as to the particular time when that person died.”

The tragedy has left a lasting impact on the music industry and the lives of those who knew Castro.
